You can articulate all the right theology but if it doesn’t lead you to giving a cup of cold water for the thirsty, food for the hungry, and declaring freedom for the oppressed and the captives, then all you are doing is whistling nonsense.

The words of the gospel are important but they should lead to actions. Jesus said love for God and love for neighbor – that’s what all of the prophets are about. On those two commandments hang all the laws and the prophets.
